1.What is vSeeBox?

vSeeBox is one of the best-selling Android TV boxes fully loaded. It allows you to enjoy Live TV, Movies, and TV Shows (VOD) without subscriptions. You can watch over 2,500+ TV channels, 50,000+ VOD, PPV and sports events and more. To use our vSeeBox, just simply plug it into your TV, connect with Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and then you can Enjoy the Best Home Entertainment Experience Ever. It also provides 50+ channels 7-Day Playback feature so you don’t need to record by yourself.

The latest V3 Pro model features: Quad-core 64-bit CPU processor, 4GB Memory RAM, 64GB Internal Storage, Android 11 TV, New powerful chipset Amlogic 905Y4 enabling 10 bit HDR decoding up to 8K@60fps, 2R2R Dual Wi-Fi 6 up to 867mbps, LAN network up to 1000mbps.

vSeeBox V3 Pro uses H.265/HEVC decoding technology, which is a successor to H.264/AVC. Compared to H.264, H.265 image processing technology makes the data compression ratio doubled at the same level of video quality and saves 50% of network bandwidth resources, which makes you watch movies more smoothly with the same picture quality loaded and enjoy a high-quality experience with less buffering.

2.Are any further charges/subscriptions required after purchasing vSeeBox?

No, once you purchased the vSeeBox, you can use it with the Heat Apps provided without further charges, that’s why it’s the true Cable Cutter and say goodbye to cable bills!

However, for other apps like Netflix, Hulu or Disney+, you would need your account to use their service.

3. What are Heat Apps?

Heat Apps, including Heat Live, Heat VOD and Heat VOD Ultra (only available on V2 Pro) are pre-installed apps on vSeeBox. It’s free with 2,500+ TV channels, 50,000+ movies and tv shows.

4. Where can I use the vSeeBox?

You can use it anywhere in the world, you can take it for travelling/road trips as well. (currently no service in China).

5. Any requirements for using vSeeBox?

You just need a TV/monitor with an HDMI port and Wi-Fi/Ethernet network connected with vSeeBox. We recommend an over 15 Mbps network with Ethernet for smooth streaming.

6. Do I need a VPN to use vSeeBox?

Not compulsory to have VPN to use vSeeBox. If you use 3rd party apps often / need to change the location for a service area with apps like Netflix, we recommend having one.

7. Can I install my apps on vSeeBox?

Yes absolutely. vSeeBox is highly compatible with the Google Android TV system. We recommend downloading all official apps from Google Play Store to ensure they work properly.

For some 3rd party apps out of the Google Play Store, you can visit the Market on Home Page. We have added some common 3rd party apps in the Market for easy downloading and installation.

8. What internet speed do I need for using vSeeBox?

Yes absolutely. vSeeBox is highly compatible with the Google Android TV system. We recommend downloading all official apps from Google Play Store to ensure they work properly.

For some 3rd party apps out of the Google Play Store, you can visit the Market on Home Page. We have added some common 3rd party apps in the Market for easy downloading and installation.

9. What channels are you providing?

The pre-installed Heat Live app supports National, Local, Sports, Canadian, Latino, NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, ESPN+, BTN+, PPV, FloSports etc. For the channel list, you can take a look: https://vseeboxus.com/pages/channel-list

10. What type of TF card can be used and the maximum storage?

You can insert a TF card to order to expand the storage. It supports FAT format with 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. However, apps must be installed on the device to use (in Apk file).

1. What’s the difference between model V1 Pro and V2 Pro?

V2 Pro is the 2023 newest version together with the following new features:

2. Where can I purchase the vSeeBox?

You can find it with our local distributors or online stores, eg. Amazon, eBay etc. Please be reminded to find authorized distributors to ensure they are selling genuine products.

3. Is there any product warranty?

We warrant our product V1 Pro, V1 Max and V2 Pro for 1 year. If there’s any hardware issue, you can contact your seller for replacement/repairment.

4. Can I get a refund if not satisfied?

It depends on your seller’s policy. Please confirm with them before purchasing.

3. VSeeBox Setup And Installation

3. How to install my apps on vSeeBox?

We recommend using Google Play Store, as our vSeeBox is highly compatible with Android TV, you can get all the official apps such as Netflix, YouTube TV, and Disney+ there.

For some 3rd party apps out of the Google Play Store, you can visit the Market on Home Page. We have added some common 3rd party apps in the vSee Market for easy downloading and installation.

4. How to uninstall apps on vSeeBox?

On the 1st row of the Home page, Settings, Apps, select the app(s) you want to uninstall, and click Uninstall.

5. How to update my vSeeBox?

vSeeBox supports Over-The-Air updates to keep your device updated. On the 3rd row of the Home Page, select the Software update. You can check if any new updates with Online Update.

6. [V2 Pro] How to pair the Bluetooth Remote?

Please visit the Bluetooth section: Home Screen settings row, System settings, and Bluetooth. Choose Pair new device.

To pair the Bluetooth remote, hold both [OK] and [VOL-] buttons until the red light flashes on the remote indicator. Now new device "vSeeBox Remoter" will show there, and connect it.

7. How to reset my vSeeBox? Will factory reset erase my Heat Apps?

Factory reset will erase all data and caches on the vSeeBox. However, you can install the Heat apps back after resetting.

You can find that on: 3rd row home screen - system settings - device preference - reset - erase everything.

*** Heat Live and Heat VOD missing after setup

Please confirm that network has been connected first. You can open YouTube TV and see if any videos can be playing.

If network connected but Heat Apps still not showing on Home Screen, we recommend doing a factory reset if you are experiencing unusual glitching from setup. You can find that on: 3rd row home screen - system settings - device preference - reset - erase everything.

4. Heat Live And Playback

2. What can I do if the EPG is not accurate?

The EPG system adjusts according to your box Time Zone, and Date and Time setting.

Please check your vSeeBox to see if the Time, Date and Timezone are set correctly. You can visit Home Screen, Settings, Device Preferences, Date & time. If it still shows the incorrect time, please turn off the "Automatic date & time" function, and turn it on again. Then it would update to the correct one.

3. How to add channels to favorite list?

4. How to use the Search function?

5. How to use the 7 Days Playback feature?

6. How to remove the network speed displayed in the top right corner?

7. Can I request more channels?

We keep adding more channels. Please provide us the name of the channels you want to add. For local channels, please also provide the callsigns (Eg. KNBC for NBC 4 Southern California). We will add them within 2 weeks and contact you if been added.

For priority, we will add according to popularity, from Sports > National & Local > Canadian & Latino > 24/7.

8. Are there any 18+ or Adult content or Parental content?

Currently, adult content is available on vSeeBox Elite and vSeeBox Pro Max.

9. Why are some channels showing “Channel Under Maintenance”?

It often happens with sports and PPV channels. If there are no live games at the time, those channels will be under maintenance preparing for upcoming events. Please check our EPG for game schedules, or you can check the schedule on relevant sports websites.

For regular channels, sometimes there are emergency checks/tests. Most of those channels will come back shortly. If you notice any of the channels that were down for a while and didn't come back, you can use the Feedback submission to notify us, and our developers' team will check and fix it soonest.

If you are informed that the backup TV has been repaired, please use the backup TV to watch the live broadcast first. Our technical team is still working hard to deploy the Heat Live system.

10. Can I pause the Live TV?

Currently, the Heat Live cannot be paused or stopped. We are developing the Time Shift feature and it will be available later.

If you are experiencing all channels showing down for maintenance, we recommend doing a factory reset. You can find that on: 3rd row on home screen - system settings - device preference - reset - erase everything.

5. Heat VOD And Heat VOD Ultra

1. What is the difference between Heat VOD and Heat VOD Ultra?

Heat VOD Ultra is an upgraded version of Heat VOD which provides more ultra HD and 4K VODs. Currently Heat VOD Ultra is only available on the V2 Pro model. We recommend an over 40 Mbps network for streaming 4K contents without buffering.

2. How to search for a movie/tv series I want to watch?

You can use the Search function on the left-hand side of the VOD main page. For example, if you want to search for the movie “Moonfall”, you can search “moon” or “fall”.

3. How can I set a movie or tv series to my favorite?

When you select and click on any VOD, there are “Play”, “Info” and “Favorite” buttons on the page before you watch it. You can click the “Favorite” button to add it to your favorite.

4. How can I check my favorite VOD list?

You can find the Favorite on the top side of the VOD main page. To cancel a favorite, you can hover over the movie/tv series and press the Menu button on your remote to cancel your favorite.

5. How can I change the picture quality?

Some of our VODs have different quality versions for you to choose from. You can adjust according to your network environment. Press Menu button on your remote during the VOD streaming, in Quality, you can choose High / Normal / Low quality, high quality may up to 4K version.

6. How can I turn subtitles on/off?

Some of our VODs have different subtitles even in different languages for you to choose from. Press the Menu button on your remote during the VOD streaming, in Subtitles, you can choose None (for closing subtitles), or subtitles in different languages.

7. How can I change the track language of a VOD?

Some of our VODs have different track languages for you to choose. Press the Menu button on your remote during the VOD streaming, in Track, you can choose English, Español and more according to availability.

8. A movie/tv shows I’m watching often buffers. Why?

At times, you might endure buffering as a result of high traffic or slow speeds on the internet. If buffering issues are persistent, try holding down the “Pause” button for up to 15 seconds before resuming the movie. This often rectifies the buffering issue.

We also provide the picture quality selection function. You can adjust according to your network environment. Press Menu button on your remote during the VOD streaming, in Quality, you can choose High / Normal / Low quality, high quality may up to 4K version.

6. Other Questions

1. Network issue – say remembered instead of connected

Thank you for your help first. If the network is indicating "remembered" but not "connected", it means the password error. You can re-connect the network by: 3rd on row home screen - system settings - network - click ok on your wifi network - forgot network. For more network troubleshooting, please visit:

2. Shut down / sleeping mode – which shall I choose?

We suggest shutting it down (power off) if you are not using it. It will release the internal storage and make the box work more smoothly with next usage.

The sleeping mode is for a short period of not using it. The tv box would not be turned off completely for a faster wake-up time.
